Inclusive Journeys
The “Accessible Journeys” project is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to engage in travel experiences. This initiative addresses the often overlooked and under-implemented concept of providing leisure travel opportunities for persons with disabilities, who often lack the necessary services and support systems to access such experiences and enjoy nature in diverse environments. This vision is lead by Mr. Sandeep Singh, hear his travel experience here.

Chap Foundation collaborates with stakeholders and mobilizes key members working with persons with disabilities to advocate for policy changes and promote this concept across various platforms. A notable success of this project was seen during the Shobla Bana 2023 event, where Chap Foundation, in collaboration with Radio Udaan, facilitated the travel of 10 individuals with disabilities and their volunteers from Delhi to Naggar. This travel experience offered an immersive journey into the rich culture of Kullu, as documented by Naresh, the trip leader.
While they performed experienced Kullu culture during the show. They visited Naggar and its famous tourist destinations like Naggar Castle and IRMT. They enjoyed feeling the Ibex horn, understanding Kathkoni architecture and amazed by the colors of the sky as painted by Roerich, the famous painter. Nonetheless, all of them feasted on the Kullu food specially Siddu.
