CivicHelp and Progress Foundation (CHAP) a Delhi-based* team of social entrepreneurs that aims at bringing quality change to Naggar and its surrounding villages in Kullu district through various programs.
A qualified lawyer and systemic policy developer, she has experience of courts and the development sector. From volunteering as a child to representing youth advocacy at UNGA 2018 in New York, she’s focused on policy impact, including , Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, Worker Social Security and Responsible Tourism. As Chap’s founder, she envisions India’s economic growth by empowering woman in villages.
He is the Chairman & Managing Director of Fairfest Media Ltd, organisers of India’s oldest and largest travel trade shows TTF and OTM. He is also the founder of Good Governance India Foundation (GGIF) a think-tank dedicated to promoting value of property rights under constitutional rule of law. He mentors the foundation’s vision for creating employment through responsible tourism.
An IIT Roorkee-trained architect specializing in inclusive infrastructure, he’s also a prolific writer, authoring novels on disability struggles and environmental blogs. His solution-driven approach has led him to contribute to various organizations advocating for workers’ and marginalized rights. At Chap, he leads the inclusion of persons with disabilities in travel and tourism.
Dr. Shashi Agrawal, an MBBS graduate, is the cornerstone of Chap’s activities. With over 35 years of experience, she served as the Director of Medical Services in Delhi ESIC until her retirement in 2015. She has been instrumental in providing health guidance to artisans, emphasizing that better health leads to better wealth.
She has an experience of more than 15 years of managing guest relationships and homestays. She successfully manages Alliance homestay, a traditional nature friendly, family run home Stay / Guest House with an authentic Indo-French touch.
A dynamic ‘pahadi’ (someone belonging to the hills), who is passionate about contributing to social welfare and impact. Cleanliness, digital upskilling, art & culture preservation & responsible tourism are some of the main causes that he is always excited to contribute towards. He is equipped with close to a decade of experience working on all things digital for many brands with domestic as well as global repute. He is currently the person behind our digital presence and promotion.
