Project Bright Future
Project Bright Future
As the name suggests, this project aims to brighten the future of the rural population. We believe that the environment and infrastructure play an important role in shaping the adults children become. This project is carried out with the support of multiple stakeholders and instills hope in people.
In 2023, the Chap Foundation, in association with the District Administration, Nainital, undertook repair work, painting, and the installation of safety grills for students at a government school in Dhanachuli. The walls were leaking and not maintained, making them ugly and dull for students. See below the state of school.

Chap Foundation designed the revamping work with modern developments and regional traditions in mind. We invited local and city artists to collaborate, facilitating the sharing of knowledge about art and tradition. The astronomy wall was designed to affirm to students that India has reached the moon, while murals of yoga and Aipan were created to remind them of their cultural heritage.
A notable success of this project is that, following Kala Bhitoli, one of our chief guests, Ajay Bhatt, Union Minister of State for Defence & Tourism and MP (LS) Nainital-Udhamsingh Nagar, facilitated the placement of a shed along with other grants and benefits from various other guests and visitors.
Now, the students have a shed to stand under, protecting them from the scorching sun and uncertain rainfall, leading to uninterrupted studies. Additionally, students now have lively walls that inspire them and foster a positive learning environment.
